Breakfast : 7am to 10am from Monday to Saturday and from 7:30am to 10:30am on Sundays and holidays.

Located in the heart of the famous Margaux vineyards, close to the most prestigious castles of the Médoc. The fairways are lined with elms and ash trees, with some following the banks of the Gironde estuary and others surrounded by lakes and water.
The Garden Golf de Margaux is spread across 131 acres. This 18-hole golf course, par 71 of 6,048m, is among the most difficult courses of the region.

The dinner in the restaurant was abominable. The charge for our tiny dog (4 kg) of 20 Euro I found outrageous.

A view comments: - Curtains in my room (509) did not hang in the rails. - The room and bathroom were very clean but a bit old fashion. - The toilet did not flush well. - We were situated very far away in de hotel, despite the fact that you knew this group was coming already in March. - The lady who run the breakfast on Friday and Saturday was extremely negative. She was very lout with the cups, plates etc. She looked very angry and was snarled to the visitors. Very uncomfortable. She had black short hear and was wearing a dress.

A staffmember (a lady) working during breakfast wasn’t very nice. A lot of other guests noticed it as well. Maybe she was stressed due to the amount of people. But she clearly couldn’t handle it very well.

Though the location is away from big cities everything is present for a great golfing stay. Some refreshment is needed though to make it all look more up to date.

We stopped here on our way back from Portugal to Switzerland and it was exactly what we were looking for. A comfortable night sleep with a lovely meal to explore the Margaux wines

L'endroit n'est pas mal du tout, le restaurant est super, mais il est très dommage que l'espace ne soit pas mieux équipé (la piscine est petite alors qu'il y a un place folle, par exemple). L'ensemble manque un peu de fraîcheur et de modernité. Il est également très dommage que nous n'ayons pas pu triuvee de place pour un soin au spa alors que nous avions fait la demande par mail 48 heures avant notre arrivée. Je n'ai d'ailleurs pas reçu de suite au mail que j'avais envoyé pour cette demande, ce qui témoigne d'une réactivité toute relative. Le staff, par contre, est aux petits soins. Au final, l'expérience n'était pas déplaisante (grâce surtout au délicieux restaurant), mais nous sommes partis avec une impression de potentiel incomplet.

The hotel is worn down. A sign in the room telling us that the hotel will be refurbished at the end of the year is rediculous. We had a nice stay, but I think the marketing of the hotel is dishonest

I think the hotel has got great potential but it feels like it's being abandoned. The golf & gardens are properly looked after, but the terrasse and furniture feel old. The paint on the outside of the buildings is falling apart, reinforcing that feeling of a hotel being abandoned. The hotel is meant to be 4 stars, but the service isn't a 4 stars service. No service at the swimming pool, no service on Sunday. Overall the staff is very nice, and the location is lovely - so it's a really shame that the hotel feels so old and has been.

Great property and location. Staff was wonderful. Room was good size and comfortable. Decor in hotel is tired and needs a face lift. Restaurant provided a warm and pleasing atmosphere, the food was good and the breakfast as excellent. I look forward to my next visit after the new ownership some upgrades.
