Seul regret : la chambre sur rue et au 1er étage , avec des gens qui dorment dans la rue la nuit et qui font un peu de bruit Sinon le reste est parfait , excellent séjour

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are amazing, they could not be any more helpful. Pool area a little small but I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

I would not stay at the H10 Urquinaona Plaza in Barcelona again. Although the hotel is beautifully designed, the actions of staff working there (and subsequent response from management) was acceptable. Upon check-in on July 1st after a long flight, it was determined my room was not ready although it was after the check-in time. After waiting 15-20 minutes, I was given keys to my room. The bags would be delivered 15 minutes after that. Despite the delay in checking-in and receiving my bags, the worst was yet to come. After placing the "Do Not Disturb" signage on my room, I got into bed to get some needed sleep after the flight. Approximately 15 minutes later, a staff person walks into my room unannounced and with no knocking. I was absolutely mortified to have someone come into my room when I was disrobed and trying to sleep. Not only did this happen once - but again some 30 minutes later! This time the staff knocked and then walked into the room despite me yelling for them to get out! Upon this happening a second time, I went down to the front desk to complain. The front desk attendant couldn't explain it accept to say it was the hotel's birthday and they were trying to deliver cava to all rooms. I told them it was unacceptable for a hotel to have staff barging into rooms when it was clearly indicated "Do Not Disturb". Not only did I feel violated - but also unsafe. This was all addressed with the front staff who told me they would address with management and would have management get back to me. Upon coming back to the hotel later in the eve - I determined there was no attempt by management to contact me to discuss and remedy the situation. I again went downstairs to seek out management. I was told there was no management available. Finally, the next evening before my departure , the front staff pulled me aside and offered me a free breakfast for my troubles. A free breakfast - that's your response. Quite honestly, I was expecting management to discuss the situation with me, issue an apology, and not charge me for the two nights I stayed there. As indicated, I felt totally unsafe staying in my room not knowing if I was going to have privacy or if a staff was going to barge into my room unannounced. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone - not only for the poor training of staff, lack of privacy, but also for the poor management response (which was none). Stay at this hotel if you must but be assured if it happened to me it could happen to anyone!!! There are many fine hotels in Barcelona, it's a shame the H10 Urquinaona Plaza is not one of them!!!
