All a bit sad and run down but Colline was very helpful and made up for it.

It would be good if the hotel could provide some small meals like pasta and sandwiches especially for families staying. The hotel restaurant was full so we had to travel 15 mins to a restaurant the first night and the second night made sandwiches in our room. There was no room service menu. This is most unusual for a 5 star hotel

Been several times and love the location for Puy du Fou. Hotel has GREAT potential especially with the restaurant to become a top class hotel with 5 stars that could be added to something special like Relais Châteaux. Problem is that the garden areas are not as well kept as they could be and the animals do nothing for the place and really let it down. I have nothing against the animals but not in this place. Good luck I really think there is a great opportunity but take the chance now or it will be too late. Restaurant food is great, modern and interesting but the staff dress and the restaurant are "old fashioned" needs a review to ensure that the chef stays and pushes himself and the restaurant. Hope these ideas help I really do wish you all well. Thanks Roy Middleton

I gave 4 stars for the room because it was hot in the suite under the roof and the living area / kid bedroom did not have air con. Air con only in the master bedroom.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé l’hôtel où nous avons séjourné dans une des maisons des bois. Adorable chalet niché dans la forêt, extraordinaire. Par contre, les toilettes, ouvertes sur la chambre, quelle horreur! La prochaine fois, je renoncerai à ce joli chalet, juste à cause de ça! Je n’avais jamais vu cela dans un 5 étoiles auparavant.... Je recommande par ailleurs chaudement la Table du Boisniard qui est une étape gastronomique incontournable de la région. Nous y avons passé une délicieuse soirée. La cuisine est grandiose et le personnel très compétent. Un grand merci au chef qui m’a concocté tout spécialement un menu vegan magnifique.

No choice of food for room service. We got some fatty pate in a jar and bread. We wanted salad or sandwich or burger.

We had the most wonderful stay at this hotel in September as part of our visit to the Puy du Fou. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were beautiful, the outdoor heated pool fabulous and our dinner in the gourmet restaurant was the best we've ever had. All in all a wonderful experience.

From the moment we drove up, I was feeling like I was in a dream. The Chateau is beautiful and surrounded by lush gardens and animals. The staff was there for us at every moment and the breakfast was delicious.
